ACH Payments Module

TourTools® has developed add-on functionality to process checks electronically directly from TourTools and the TourTools Online website, specifically using the Authorize.net payment gateway.

What it Can Do

TourTools® users can process checks electronically directly from TourTools and the TourTools Online website using the Authorize.net payment gateway. These are sometimes called Automated Clearing House (or ACH) transactions.

How it Works

  • Users enter a Check Account Number and a Check Routing Number either into TourTools or the TourTools Online website.
  • This information is saved and submitted to the Authorize.net payment gateway for processing.
  • Since the ACH network only processes checks on backing days (and not banking holidays), TourTools automatically verifies that the check is submitted for processing.
  • In the event that the check is not processed, a corrective payment transaction is automatically entered into TourTools, and an email is sent notifying staff of the payment issue.
